Since 2014, Ebru Dorman has been making personal investments in early stage technology companies – investing financial capital, intellectual capital and social capital capital in promising entrepreneurs.
Ebru has been in Venture Capital since 2000, first as an entrepreneur, then as investment professional at Morgan Stanley Strategic Ventures and Orange Ventures based in London, investing across Europe and US. During 2015-2000, she’s been Chairwoman of StartersHub, a seed stage investor in tech startups from Turkey and the region.
Her most notable VC investment has been while at Orange Ventures, a Series B investment into Netezza in 2002. Netezza IPO’d in July 2007 and was acquired by IBM in 2010 for $1.7 billion.
